Students Visited the Department of Internal State Audit

On May 29, 2026, final-year students of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University participated in a meeting held at the Department of Internal State Audit for the West Kazakhstan Region of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on April 6, 2026, between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University. 

The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the activities of the internal state audit system, provide information on career opportunities within the civil service, and support the professional development and career orientation of future specialists. During the event, representatives of the Department provided detailed information on the key responsibilities and areas of activity of the internal state audit bodies, as well as their role within the system of public financial control. In addition, students received information on the procedures for entering the civil service, employment opportunities for vacant positions, ways to gain professional experience, and the requirements applied to civil servants. As part of the meeting, the specialists discussed the specific features of audit activities and shared their professional experience with students interested in pursuing careers in the public sector. During the open discussion, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from the Department’s experts.Such events contribute to broadening students’ professional perspectives, helping them better understand the current demands of the labor market and make informed decisions regarding their future careers. Cooperation between the University and government institutions is aimed at developing students’ practical skills and creating favorable conditions for their successful professional growth and career development.
