On May 22, 2026, graduates of the Economics educational program at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University took part in a meeting held at the Department of State Treasury for the West Kazakhstan Region.
The event was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on April 6, 2026, between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize graduates with the specifics of public service, provide information on career opportunities within the public sector, and encourage young professionals to pursue careers in government service. During the event, specialists from the Department of State Treasury delivered a detailed presentation on the institution’s key areas of activity, the procedures for entering public service, employment opportunities for vacant positions, as well as prospects for professional development and career advancement.In addition, the students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive comprehensive answers from experienced professionals. The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format, allowing graduates to gain a deeper understanding of the nature and responsibilities of public service. Such events not only contribute to strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and government agencies but also play an important role in students’ professional development, helping them make informed decisions about their future careers.
