On September 30, 2026, a job fair was held in Uralsk as part of the Labour Day celebrations. The event aimed to promote youth employment, strengthen cooperation between employers and job seekers, and expand career opportunities for university graduates. A total of 30 employers participated in the fair, presenting current job vacancies to graduates of technical and vocational education institutions, as well as higher education institutions across the city. They also provided information about employment opportunities and recruitment requirements. Graduates of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University also took part in the event. They had the opportunity to communicate directly with employers, explore available vacancies, and learn more about potential career opportunities. Such events help young professionals transition into the labour market, broaden their employment prospects, and take their first steps towards building a successful career.
