Graduates of WKU Visited the Department of State Revenues

On May 28, 2026, final-year students of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University took part in a meeting held at the Department of State Revenues for the West Kazakhstan Region.

The event was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on April 6, 2026, between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the specifics of the civil service system, support their professional orientation, and provide comprehensive information about career opportunities within government agencies.

During the event, specialists from the Department of State Revenues presented the institution’s main areas of activity, organizational structure, and key functions. In addition, students received detailed information on the procedures for entering the civil service, available job vacancies, opportunities for gaining professional experience, and the requirements for employment.

During the meeting, representatives of the Department discussed the role of the civil service in society, its advantages, and the responsibilities of civil servants. They also provided detailed answers to participants’ questions. The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format, enabling graduates to gain a clearer understanding of their future professional careers.

Such events not only help increase young people's interest in civil service but also contribute to the development of their professional potential, enhance their competitiveness in the labor market, and support informed career choices. Cooperation between the University and government agencies is aimed at improving students’ practical skills and creating favorable conditions for their successful professional development.
