On May 26, 2026, M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University hosted a meeting between students and representatives of the Chingirlau District Akimat Administration and the District Career Center as part of the University's Open Doors Month initiative.
The purpose of the event was to inform graduating students about employment opportunities, familiarize them with the district’s workforce needs, and encourage young professionals to enter the labor market.
The meeting was attended by a delegation headed by Islambek Aibek Zhanshauly, Deputy Akim of Chingirlau District. During an open dialogue with students, the delegation provided comprehensive information on the district’s socio-economic development, in-demand professions in the labor market, support mechanisms for young specialists, and available employment opportunities. Representatives of the district also introduced students to ongoing development projects, government programs, and social support measures available to professionals. In addition, graduates were informed about the opportunities and advantages of starting their careers in rural areas.
One of the highlights of the meeting was an address by university alumnus, member of the Alumni Association, and Director of the Chingirlau District Cultural and Leisure Center, Tilegen Kenzhetayevich Kaliyev. He shared insights from his professional journey, spoke about the development of his career, and encouraged students to pursue lifelong learning, continuous professional growth, and service to their country. At the conclusion of the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in an informal discussion with the district representatives. Such meetings contribute to students’ professional self-determination, increase their awareness of labor market opportunities, and help establish direct connections with potential employers.
