On October 14, 2026, a meeting was held with students of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University as part of the micro-qualification programme “Investigation of Economic Crimes.” The event brought together 40 students pursuing degrees in economics, law, and information technology. The main objectives of the meeting were to familiarise students with the programme, provide career guidance, and discuss opportunities to develop the practical skills required of future professionals. As part of the programme, 12 fourth-year students who aspire to pursue careers in public service, including law enforcement, will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and enhance their professional competencies. The micro-qualification programme is designed to strengthen students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of economic crime investigation and develop the practical skills essential for their future professional careers. In the coming months, the programme will include academic sessions and practical training. Updates on students’ professional development and their achievements will also be shared.
The primary objective is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, enhance students’ professional competencies, and support their development into qualified specialists who are in demand in the labour market. Initiatives aimed at developing the professional potential of future specialists help strengthen the relationship between higher education and the labour market, while also contributing to the training of highly qualified professionals.
