On February 11, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Committee was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the West Kazakhstan University on the topic “Strategic Partnership between the University and Employers in the Development of Educational Programs: Quality, Flexibility, and Graduate Employability.” The event was attended by the faculty dean, deputy dean, heads of educational programs, advisors, and representatives of the Alumni Association. During the meeting, the catalogs of elective courses and Minor programs for the 2026–2030 academic years, the results of the “Atameken” NPP ranking, the accounting of prerequisites and post-requisites, the quality of syllabi and assessment materials, the implementation of the CLIL method, as well as the criteria for evaluating student achievements were reviewed. The discussion also covered the organization of the elective course request competition and the integration of micro-credentials into educational programs, including their incorporation into Minor and elective courses. As a result of the meeting, analytical reports and concrete recommendations were prepared, and directions for further development of collaborative work between the university, employers, and the Alumni Association were identified.
